About me

My name is Vlad, and I am a -year-old University of Central Florida student studying Computer Science. Besides studying CS academically, I want to test my skills and get real-world experience working in that industry. My programming journey began long ago: when I was about 11 years old. I discovered how to make websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Since then, I've learned many other programming languages, such as, Python, C, C++, PHP, Java, and C#. Recently I've been focusing on competetive programming and solving coding problems in C++, applying my knowledge in Data Structures and Algorithms. Also, I try to develop in different directions as well: I've worked on various projects that you can find on my github or projects page

ICPC Programming Team of University of Central Florida

I'm a member of UCF Programming Team, where I learn about advanced Algorithms and Data Structures and how to apply various techniques to solve challenging problems. When my team competed in 2023 SouthEast Regional ICPC Contest, we placed 2nd

Palm Beach School District IT Internship

I worked as a full-stack developer on the Palm Beach School District's “Battle of the Books” project during my summer 2023 Internship. I was responsible for both the front-end and back-end parts of the web application by using React.js and .Net Core.

UCF High School Programming Tournament

I participated in the UCF programming competition, where my team had to solve different programming problems. It was a great experience to challenge myself to solve complicated problems and try to do it as fast as possible. It helped me to develop the ability to seek the most efficient approaches to problem-solving and teamwork skills.

FIRST Robotics Competition

I am a member of the robotics team called 1523 M.A.R.S. (Mega Awesome Robotic Systems). Our team built a robot for the First Robotics Competition. In 2023, we participated in South Florida Regional and Orlando Regional with our new robot, “Ingenuity.” I am in the programming team, so I am responsible for writing the code for our robot, so the driving team can control it and even drive in autonomous mode by itself.

AFA CyberPatriot National Competition

Our high school cybersecurity team competed in the CyberPatriot competition, where we had to apply cybersecurity methods to protect the system on the virtual machine from all threats. Each round consisted of many parts, and I was responsible for Windows Server and Cisco Packet Tracer portions.

Computer Science Honor Society

I am a member of my high school's Computer Science Honor Society, a place for everyone interested in computer science. We participate in different activities, including programming and cybersecurity competitions. In 2022, I became the leader of our programming team and was assisting other members on how the competition was going to take place and how they could prepare for competitive programming
